Located at South Beach Park Pavilion in Boca Raton, FL, the design proposal draws inspiration from the site's vibrant tourist atmosphere, beach views, and surrounding trees. The structure's latitudinal view mimics a wave about to crest, with two waves opening toward the ocean and a third forming the street entrance.
From above, the design resembles three ribbed seashells. The pavilion uses a curved parametric truss system, similar to Zaha Hadid's Heydar Aliyev Center and Jørn Utzon's Sydney Opera House — offering enhanced design possibilities, visual appeal, and structural stability. Ball joints are incorporated for added strength.
